Millicent L. “Cindy” Drummond, 55, of Lawrenceville, passed away Sunday December 28, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
She was born June 21, 1953 in East Chicago, IL the daughter of Aurel and Kathryn (Mills) Quick. On October 27, 1974 she married Donald E. Drummond. He survives.
Also surviving are a son: James P. Drummond of Lawrenceville, IL, 2 daughters: Donna M. Drummond of Lawrenceville, IL, Wilma J. Drummond of Lawrenceville, IL, a brother: Morris Quick of Wonderlake, IL, a grandchild: Dylan Drummond, and several nieces and nephews.
She worked at Suttle Apparatus for about 18 years. She was currently employed at Parkside Elementary School as a Teacher’s Aide, and was part-time Secretary at her church.
The funeral will be Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 11:00am Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
